Chocolate Lover’s Granola
If you’re a chocolate lover, boy have I got a treat for you! This Chocolate Lover’s Granola is the excuse you’ve always wanted to eat chocolate for breakfast. You’re welcome. The Kid in You Will Love It When I was a kid, I only ever wanted to eat sugary cereal for breakfast (as, I suspect, most kids do). I especially loved chocolatey cereal—Coco Puffs, Count Chocula, Cookie Crisp. But my mom, of course, wanted me to eat healthy cereal (shocking, I know). So instead of Cookie Crisp I ate Shredded Wheat (and no, not the frosted kind). These days, I’m much more likely to opt for that healthy cereal than…

Gingerbread Granola
The Holidays are here friends! My gift to you this holiday season is a delicious new breakfast treat. This Gingerbread Granola is full of the warm spices of the season, with a sweet-tart punch from dried cranberries. It’s perfect for cozy mornings in your jammies with loved ones. So many new cookie and candy recipes have been swimming in my head (“visions of sugarplums” and all that) over the past few months, all of them perfect for the Holidays. But as often happens…

I’m not ready to give up hot sunny days, cold drinks on the deck, ice cream cones, BBQs, and fresh summer flavors. To help bridge the gap from summer to fall, I created this Apricot Ginger Granola. It has the bright sweetness of apricots and a bit of tropical flavor from coconut mixed with the…

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Granola
Growing up, I always wanted the sugary cereal for breakfast. Cookie crisp especially. I mean, what kid doesn’t want to eat cookies for breakfast? (Or what adult, for that matter??) Unfortunately for my childhood self, my Mom insisted I eat the healthy cereal (Shredded Wheat, anyone?), and I rarely got to indulge in that sugary goodness. So, this Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Granola is my way of having my Cookie Crisp and eating it too. (Oh, and thanks Mom for trying to keep me healthy – love you!) If you’ve never made your own granola before, you may be surprised at how easy it is to do. If you can…
